Preparing Files for Press: Print & Design

While designing your artwork, please keep in mind our specifications for printing. When your files meet all of our requirements for printing, we can ensure the best quality.

Please be sure that your files meet as many of the following criteria before submitting for print.

  • • Press Ready PDF format with proper bleeds & crop marks

  • • All images be in CMYK @ 300 dpi (image resolution)

  • • Embed or outline all fonts

  • • Flatten all transparencies

  • • Any file set up to print Black & White should be set up with the following color settings:
    Cyan 0% • Magenta • 0% Yellow 0% • K(black)100%

  • • If you plan on mailing flat cards or having us mail them for you, the back-side layout must meet U.S. Postcard Postal Regulations.

 

Before submitting your files, please be sure to view your PDF carefully. Results can vary based on the application that created the PDF. If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat, you can download (for free) Acrobat Reader on its official site by clicking on the image.
